With PointAPlace, you can easily and quickly save any location with a note or photo. And when the long weekend comes, simply check your picnic spots!

Such a cool street art! I have to tell Marta about it… With PointAPlace, you can do it in three clicks! Take a photo at a specific location and share it with your friend. And if you find a great fishing spot? Let your buddies know where it is. And send them a photo of the biggest pike, of course.

About us
The idea for PointAPlace was born on our journeys. Many times, while passing by a spot, one of us would say: “This would be perfect for a picnic someday” or “We should bring the kids here when they’re older.” The question was always the same: how do we save it so we can actually come back later? That’s when we decided to build it!
Who We Are
Piotr Goryl – entrepreneur with years of experience in business and software development (including projects for some of the largest research centers in Europe).
Maja Pawlicka-Goryl – philologist, teacher, translator and writer.
He codes. She writes. Together, we created Gorilla Business, a family-run company whose flagship project is PointAPlace – the app for anyone who wants to save locations: travelers, mushroom pickers, nature lovers… Maybe even for you?
FAQ
Yes! The basic features of PointAPlace are completely free. You can create your personal map, save your favorite spots, and even share them with friends.
If you’d like to use the app for commercial purposes, build your own community, or run a public account, you’ll need more server space and moderation. Some of these advanced features may require a subscription in the future.
In the app menu, select “Friends”, then add the email address of the person you want to share the note with. That person must, of course, have the app installed and also add your email address to their list (make sure your friends know they need to do that!). After that, simply click the share icon next to the note and choose who you want to share it with.
